Alumni play a major role in the Rivers of today. The mission of the Rivers Alumni Association is to strengthen this special community by providing alumni with opportunities to engage the school, its students, and fellow alumni, including:
Internships: Provide an opportunity for a dynamic Rivers student to join the teams in your lab, office, or virtual workspace.
McCartney Scholars Mentors: Provide opportunities in math scholarship and mentorship for McCartney Scholars. Share your passion for mathematics and its relevance in the real world.
Rivers Connect: Share collegiate and professional experiences with members of our graduating senior class.
Sages & Seekers: This intergenerational program is designed to develop empathy and diminish social isolation and ageism, while meeting the universal need of both young adults and elders to find meaning and purpose in their lives.
Alumni Engagement Speaker Series: Share stories of social engagement and highlight the many ways Rivers alumni understand and act on their responsibility to create positive change in the world. On-campus or virtual meeting options are available.

Celebrating 50 Years of Inspiring Musical Excellence
On May 30, the Rivers School Conservatory concluded the yearlong celebration of its 50th anniversary with a free community celebration and concert under the tent on Lank Quadrangle at The Rivers School, attended by nearly 400 guests. This special event brought together current students, professional community members, and returning alumni to celebrate RSC’s legacy of musical excellence. The wide-ranging musical program featured swinging New Orleans jazz along with triumphant music by Rachmaninoff, Sousa, Tchaikovsky, and Beethoven. After an unseasonably cold and overcast day, the sun emerged just in time for the celebration, as if cued by a conductor.Read More -
Well Beyond Rivers: Alumni Pursue Wellness Professions
In a world where wellness has become a trillion-dollar global industry, how do we keep track of what really matters? “I think we can often see something like a wellness influencer on Instagram and think that we need to be like that in order to be well, or we need the latest ‘wellness’ product in order to be well,” says mental health counselor Eliza Butler ’10. “I would really urge folks not to buy into that.”Read More -

Eve Stone ’22 embodies the full-circle journey of a student-athlete returning to give back to the community that shaped her. While excelling in her senior season at Stonehill College this year as one of the top goalies in Division I, Stone also made the time to coach at Rivers.Read More
