Dear Rivers Alumni,
I hope you and your families are staying healthy and safe during this difficult time. As you know, the COVID-19 pandemic has forced us to close our campus and move to a remote-learning method of teaching. Our faculty have done an amazing job managing this transition, and our students and teachers have been enormously grateful for the effort.
Unfortunately, there is no easy way to make up for some of the events we’ve had to cancel, including such alumni events as the 20th Annual Golf Tournament and our Reunion/Alumni Day. We are sad to lose these opportunities to connect with you in person this spring, but please know that we are looking at other ways to stay connected with you, and we are already talking about how we can make sure that these two signature events come back stronger than ever next year when, hopefully, the current COVID pandemic will be behind us. We’ve already got a few exciting ideas, and we’ll be sharing them with you in more detail as we flesh them out.
Please stay safe, stay in touch, and take care of yourselves and one another.
