Our Ninth Head of School
Leading Rivers into its next chapter, Head of School Ryan S. Dahlem brings a student-centered approach that honors our hallmark educational philosophy of Excellence with Humanity. As we imagine the future of our school, we see “One Rivers”—an interconnected community where every member’s contributions are celebrated. The unique culture of Rivers has always been sustained by each of us taking responsibility for cultivating meaningful relationships in our school community. We remain steadfast in that tradition, even as we prepare to take bold steps into the future. Boldness, after all, has been present from the beginning, when Rivers was founded as an open-air school more than a century ago. In that spirit, our strategic priorities will guide our continued evolution.
