Tayra Melendez '12 Named Atlantic 10 Women's Basketball Player of the Week
Tayra Melendez ’12 was named the Atlantic 10 Player of the Week for her part in helping The University of Rhode Island’s women’s basketball team win both of its games last week.
Tayra Melendez ’12 was named the Atlantic 10 Player of the Week for her part in helping The University of Rhode Island’s women’s basketball team win both of its games last week. Tayra averaged 21 points, 3.5 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 2.5 blocks shots per game this week.
URI earned wins over UMass-Lowell and Vermont and has now won its last three games.
