“We had an extremely strong showing this year, which is a testament to the depth of talent in the program,” says Visual Arts Department Chair David Saul. “The quality of work from both Middle and Upper School students has been excellent and really showcases the energy and engagement of the students and faculty across all disciplines.”

Below is a list of all winning entries from Rivers students. All Gold and Silver Key art will be on display at the State Transportation Building (10 Park Plaza in Boston) from February 14 to April 7. The Gold Key-winning art will then be moved to New York City to be juried on the national level. The award ceremonies will take place on Sunday, March 6 in Boston.

Students vied for top honors in 12 different categories: animation, ceramics and glass, computer art, design, digital imagery, drawing, mixed media, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, and video and film.
