Students Earn AP Scholar Honors

Students recently received honors from the College Board in recognition of their outstanding performance on the college-level Advanced Placement exams.
Students of The Rivers School recently received honors from the College Board in recognition of their outstanding academic performance on the college-level Advanced Placement (AP) exams.

The following students qualified for the AP Scholar Award by completing three or more AP Exams, with grades of 3 or higher. The AP Scholars are: Alan Ashenfelter, a freshman at Wesleyan; Douglas Badrigian, a freshman at Bates; Brooke Barron, a freshman at Colby; Rachel Gorman, a freshman at Mt. Holyoke; Ryan Littman-Quinn, a freshman at Boston College; Sean O’Brien, a freshman at Emory; Michael Page, a freshman at the University of Miami; and Todd Rizley, a freshman at Tufts.

The following students qualified for the AP Scholar with Honor Award by earning an average grade of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken, and grades of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams. These students are: Nathan Edwards, a freshman at Middlebury; Eric Forsythe, a freshman at Lehigh; Megan Moore, a freshman at Emory; Shannon Oppenheim, a freshman at Brown; and Dasha Rojkova, a freshman at William Smith.

The following students qualified for the AP Scholar with Distinction Award by earning an average grade of at least 3.5 on all AP exams taken, and grades of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams. These students are: David Boucher, a freshman at Tufts; Kelsey Clark, a freshman at Yale; Henry Harrison, a freshman at Brown; Karen Laakko, a freshman at Dartmouth; Alexandra Lawson, a freshman at Hamilton; Kelly Rizoli, a freshman at Bates; Lydia Russell-Roy, a freshman at Carleton; and Brian Sullivan, a freshman at Notre Dame.
