All-School Orientation is September 6 and classes will begin on September 7.
The first day of school is almost here! Classes will begin on September 7. Once again this year, Rivers will have an All-School Orientation on Tuesday, September 6. Students will participate in several campus activities and meetings in the morning, followed by a picnic lunch at Rivers and a Boston
Harbor boat cruise in the afternoon.
In addition to the All-School Orientation, each grade in the Upper School and the Middle School as a whole will have its own orientation.
Middle School orientation will be the morning of September 6 before the All-School Orientation. Grade 9 will attend Camp Interlocken (Windsor Mountain International) in Hillsboro, NH, from Monday, August 29 to Wednesday, August 31. Grade 10 will go to a Red Sox game on Tuesday, August 30. Grade 11 will go to Camp Wingate, in Yarmouth Port on Monday, August 29. Grade 12 will participate in the annual Whitewater Rafting Trip from Saturday, August 27 to Sunday, August 28.
Please remember, for your child to participate in any school-sponsored activity, all medical forms and permission slips need to be returned to school offices by the first day of your child's orientation trip.
One other important note, the Bookstore will be open from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on August 29; 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on August 31 and September 1; and from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on September 6.
