Rivers School Students Receive AP Scholar Honors

Students of The Rivers School have recently received honors from the College Board in recognition of their outstanding academic performance on the college-level Advanced Placement (AP) exams.
Students of The Rivers School have recently received honors from the College Board in recognition of their outstanding academic performance on the college-level Advanced Placement (AP) exams.

The following students qualified for the AP Scholar Award by completing three or more AP Exams, with grades of 3 or higher. The AP Scholars are: Kelsey Clark, a Rivers senior; Karen Laakko, a Rivers senior; Thai Nguyen, a freshman at Williams College; and Mark Strasnick, a freshman at Lehigh University.

The following students qualified for the AP Scholar with Honor Award by earning an average grade of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken, and grades of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams. These students are: Holly Andersen, a freshman at Colby College; Kristyn Krolikowski, a freshman at Georgetown University; Jennifer Moor, a freshman at Trinity College; Zachary Moor, a freshman at Johns Hopkins University; and Brian Sullivan, a Rivers senior.

The following students qualified for the AP Scholar with Distinction Award by earning an average grade of at least 3.5 on all AP exams taken, and grades of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams. These students are: Lane Barrasso, a freshman at Stanford University; Matthew Bullion, a freshman at the College of William and Mary; Alex Dvorkin, a freshman at Carleton College; and Andrew Joyce, a freshman at Johns Hopkins University.
