The Nonesuch Players Present: The Wedding Singer
The Wedding Singer is an upbeat and nostalgic musical that will make you want to dance like you're at your best friend's wedding. Band leader Robbie Hart has a talent for bringing wedding guests to the dance floor—but he's still reeling from being jilted at his own wedding. With music by Matthew Sklar, lyrics by Chad Beguelin, and a book by Beguelin and Tim Herlihy, The Wedding Singer is fast, funny, and sure to leave you tapping your toes. The musical premiered on Broadway in 2006 and had several US tours starting in 2007. Nominated for the 2006 Tony Award for Best Musical, The Wedding Singer has had many international productions and is now a popular staple in community theaters and high schools.
