Six Student-Athletes Commit on National Signing Day

It was a great morning in Benson Gym on Thursday, November 13, as the Rivers community came together to celebrate the six student-athletes who will be moving on to play at the Division I level in college—the culmination of years of hard work and commitment.

Friends, family, teammates, coaches, and members of the professional community came out to support these student-athletes, who proudly wore their new school colors as they formalized the next step in their athletic careers.

“The celebration on Thursday was truly special,” said Director of Athletics Kristin Cannon. “It’s a powerful moment that validates the incredible effort, discipline, and dedication these students have shown both in their respective fields and in the classroom over many years. These six young people have set a wonderful example of what it means to be a dedicated Red Wing. We wish them the absolute best as they transition to the next level.”
