Grade 6 Visits Land’s Sake Farm
During the first week of school, Grade 6 students spent a morning helping out at Land’s Sake Farm. This hands-on, off-site experience was part of the Middle School’s annual Leadership Lab, where students come together at the beginning of the year to develop their leadership skills and start to build a strong sense of community.
Grounded in the Middle School’s definition of leadership—being your best self and positively influencing others—Leadership Lab encourages students to step outside of their comfort zones, collaborate with peers, and take initiative in new environments. Spending time at the farm offered students the opportunity to connect with each other while contributing to the community—and they even befriended some goats along the way!
