Seven Rivers Students Earn Presidential Volunteer Service Awards

At Tuesday’s Upper School Assembly, Director of Service Learning Katharine Cunningham presented seven Rivers students with Presidential Volunteer Service Awards for their work over the last 12 months.
 
The Presidential Volunteer Service Award was established in 2003 with the goal of recognizing the contributions that volunteers make in their communities and encouraging others to do their part. The Award recognizes those who have achieved a certain amount of service hours over the past 12 months and fall into three categories based on the amount of hours.
 
Achieving the Bronze level requires between 100-174 hours of service, the Silver level requires 175-249 service hours, and the Gold level is reserved for those completing over 250 hours of service. The following Rivers students were recognized for their service:
