Broadway Night & More Adds Dash of Popular Music to Annual Concert

 

Every seat in A. Ramón Rivera Hall was filled as students, faculty, staff, and parents came in droves to watch what has become one of the most anticipated performing arts events on the calendar.

 

“Because the selection was not just about Broadway, the singers were able to choose songs from popular music that speaks to them or moves them, as well,” said choral director Susan Emmanouilidis. “This made for a great variety of music not only from the chorus, but also from soloists, duets, and trios. It was a great night!”

 

In fact, it was such a great night that one night alone could not contain it. The choruses will be reprising their performances in two community concerts on April 20 at 11:15 a.m. and April 22 at 10:30 a.m. in Rivera Hall.
