Baseball
Senior captain Tim Ferriter was given the Andrew N. Navoni Award, which is presented to the member of the baseball team who best exemplifies leadership, superior sportsmanship, total dedication, and the desire for competitive excellence. Ferriter was also named to the All-Independent School League team.
Senior Sean O’Brien earned an All-Independent School League selection, while junior Scott Barchard received the Coaches’ Award.
Softball
The softball team received the ISL Sportsmanship Award.
Senior Amanda Chace was named to the All-Independent School League first team for softball. A captain on the team, Chace also took home the team’s Most Valuable Player Award. Senior captain Danielle Ain earned the team’s Coaches’ Award.
Junior Desiree DiIeso earned an All-League selection, while junior Kara Sullivan earned an All-League Honorable Mention selection.
Boys’ Lacrosse
Senior captain Alex Saunders was given the Ferris Thomsen Jr. Award, presented annually to the senior boys’ lacrosse player who shows the most improvement, enthusiasm, and overall value to the team. Saunders was also chosen to play in the 2004-2005 New England All-Star Game.
Senior Peter Sessa was named to the All- Independent School League first team for lacrosse. He also received the team’s Most Valuable Player award.
Junior Tim Bigelow and sophomore Mark Goodrich were named All- Independent School League Honorable Mentions. In addition, Goodrich led the ISL in goals with 62, and Bigelow led the ISL in assists with 49.
Assistant Coach Troy Peters was named ISL Assistant Coach of the Year.
Girls’ Lacrosse
Senior captain Kelsey Clark received the Team Player award for girls’ lacrosse. Clark was also chosen to play in the New England Prep School Women’s Lacrosse Association All-Star game.
Sophomore Megan O’Brien earned the team’s Most Improved Player Award, while sophomore Allie Page earned an All-League Honorable Mention selection.
Golf
The golf team was awarded the ISL Sportsmanship Award.
Junior Evan O’Brien was given the Charles R. Metchear III Award for golf, given to the member of the varsity golf team, who, by his high standard of desire, perseverance, and good sportsmanship, has made an exceptional contribution to the team. Sophomore Dylan Macarthy was named the recipient of the team’s Most Improved Award.
Track
Senior Megan Moore received the Girls’ Track Team’s Coaches’ Award.
Senior Michael McGuinness was named the Most Valuable Athlete on the boys’ track team, and senior Alexander Zane received the Coaches’ Award.
Boys’ Tennis
Senior captain William Moody was given the Tozzer Tennis Award, which is presented to the member of the Rivers varsity tennis team whose determination and mental discipline together with his sense of fair play have brought integrity and respect to Rivers, himself, and tennis.
Junior Ian Box was presented with the Coach’s Award.
Girls’ Tennis
Senior captain Keilly Cutler was named the recipient of the Tozzer Tennis Award, presented to the member of the Rivers varsity tennis team whose determination and mental discipline together with her sense of fair play have brought integrity and respect to Rivers, herself, and tennis.
Senior captain Danielle Kaster was presented with the Coach’s award. Kaster and sophomore Anna Crystal earned All-League Honorable Mention selections.
