In addition to the individual success, Rivers teams brought home two championships this fall, with Varsity Field Hockey winning the second ISL Championship in school history and first since 2019, and Varsity Football won their third NEPSAC Championship in four years.
Beyond the varsity teams, also of note was the success of Middle School teams this fall, which included four soccer teams, flag football, field hockey, and coed volleyball and cross-country teams. These student-athletes worked together and showed hard work and improvement over the course of the season. The athletics program touches all Middle School students and is a big part of the Middle School experience. Rivers coaches emphasize the importance of being good teammates, demonstrating sportsmanship, and collaborating to improve.
