  • April 28, 2022 - Senior Arts Celebration Dinner

    6:30-8:30 PM
    Kraft Dining Hall

    All seniors are invited to attend this dinner with the performing- and visual-arts faculty. Come for excellent food (and a sundae bar!) and a chance celebrate your arts experience through the years at Rivers.
  • May 12, 2022 - Senior BBQ and Cap & Gown Distribution

    6:30 - 8:30 PM
    Hutton Terrace
    Mandatory for seniors

    For seniors only, this casual and fun event to celebrate as a class marks the end of senior year before students embark on senior projects and graduation festivities. Dinner will be served. Seniors will also receive their yearbooks and cap & gown at this event.

  • May 13, 2022 - Final All-School Assembly

  • May 14, 2022 - Junior/Senior Prom

    6:30-10:00 PM
    Lank Quadrangle

    From 6:30-7:15 PM there will be a pre-prom reception for students and parents on Carlin Green to take prom photos.

  • May 19, 2022 - Senior “Transition to College” Dinner & Workshops

    5:30-8:30 PM
    MacDowell Athletic Center
    Mandatory for seniors

    This workshop is a two-hour mental-health literacy training for Grade 12 students to help them prepare for the social, emotional, and personal aspects of the transition to college. Mental-health literacy is the knowledge and understanding that helps folks become responsible, effective, and successful in living full and healthy lives. With good mental-health literacy, people learn how to take better care of themselves, their loved ones, and their communities. This set of skills and tools is critical as seniors prepare to leave home and establish independent lives in their new college or post-secondary communities, and this programming is mandatory for all seniors.

  • May 30-31, 2022 - Whitewater Rafting Trip

    Senior whitewater rafting trip is back! The trip will run on the Monday (5/30) of Memorial Day weekend through Tuesday 5/31.
  • June 2, 2022 - Senior-Alumni Breakfast & Graduation Rehearsal

    8:30-9:30 AM - Breakfast
    9:45-10:45 AM - Graduation Rehearsal
    Mandatory for seniors
    Formal Dress

    The senior-alumni breakfast is a longstanding tradition at Rivers where the senior class is welcomed into the Alumni Association. This event always takes place the Thursday morning before graduation and features a keynote address from a Rivers alum.

  • June 2, 2022 - Prize Day Ceremony
