    Uma Ramesh joined the team in November 2023 and now serves as the stewardship and prospect management coordinator. She has primary responsibility for gift processing and related correspondence, as well as supporting data management and various operations functions for the team. An integral member of the Development Operations team, Uma brings systems and operations experience from prior roles in healthcare and publishing. She holds a B.A. in English from the University of Saskatchewan and lives in Chestnut Hill with her husband and three children.

    Grace Ramsdell joined the Rivers marketing and communications team in April 2025. After earning a B.A. in Studio Art and English & Creative Writing from Wellesley College, she worked for the Wellesley College Alumnae Association and magazine for several years before Rivers. She lives in Somerville with her two roommates, both also named Grace, and her black lab, Lily.

    Theresa was appointed accounts payable coordinator in 2004. In January 2010 she was appointed business office manager, overseeing the student billing operations for the School, Camp Nonesuch, Rivers Day Camp, and The Rivers School Conservatory. Theresa was the recipient of Rivers’s Bergen-Decker Award in 2011.

    Meghan Regan-Loomis has been a member of the English department since 1992. She has served two terms as department chair and has a particular interest in the teaching of writing. In her free time, she is a hospice volunteer and enjoys reading, writing, hiking, and playing tennis. She is the 2002 recipient of the Mida van Zuylen Dunn Award for Teaching and the 2018 recipient of the William F. Gallagher Teaching Chair and was named a Nonesuch Circle Teacher in 2021. An enthusiastic Kenyon College alumna, she received an MAT from Tufts.

    Sequoyah Reynoso teaches Upper School science and coaches varsity track and Middle School football. Prior to joining Rivers, he taught neuroanatomy to graduate students at the University of California San Diego and fundamentals of biology at Carroll Community College in Westminster, MD. Sequoyah graduated summa cum laude from Dartmouth College in 2012 with a BA in neuroscience and psychology and was a four-year member of varsity track and field. He received a PhD from the University of California San Diego in 2018.

    Nina Righter has been working as the assistant to the head of Middle School since 2000. She also serves as calendar coordinator. She was the recipient of the Bergen-Decker Award in 2007. Prior to joining Rivers, Nina worked as a paralegal doing title exams and as a disc jockey. She holds a BS in broadcast journalism from Boston University.

    Rachel Rios Lyon has a BA in public policy and law/educational policy from Trinity College and an MALS in globalization studies from Dartmouth College. Before joining Rivers, Rachel taught government, economics, and a course she designed on globalization at Worcester Academy, where she also coached soccer and basketball, moderated the Model UN club, advised underclassmen, and served on the faculty committee on equity and inclusion. At Rivers, Rachel teaches ninth- and tenth-grade history and coaches girls’ basketball.

    Lindsey Robb has taught piano, music history, and chamber music at the Rivers School Conservatory since 1998 and has served as assistant director since 2012. He received his BA at Lawrence Conservatory of Music. His teachers include Theodore Rehl, Jean Stackhouse (pedagogy), and Jonathan Bass. He has also taught at All Newton Music School and The Joy of Music.

    As director of technology, Jon Robinson is responsible for the technological needs of all faculty, staff, and students of The Rivers School and The Rivers School Conservatory. He was the recipient of Rivers’s Bergen-Decker Award in 2009. Prior to coming to Rivers, Jon worked as network manager of the Boston law firm Palmer & Dodge LLP. He has a BA from Assumption College.

    Mallory Rome joined the Rivers faculty in 2020 after working as an administrator and an English and history teacher in a number of independent schools. At Rivers, she teaches world history and US history and advises the GSA. Mallory has a BA from Yale in English and history, an MA from Stanford in history, and an MEd in private-school leadership from Teachers College, where she was a Klingenstein Fellow.

    Bri Ross, Senior Major Gift Officer, has over 20 years of experience in development and alumni relations. Before joining Rivers in January 2025, she served as a Major Gifts Officer at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where she cultivated relationships with alumni and parents to drive philanthropy and engagement. She successfully partnered with volunteers to name a space in honor of a beloved faculty member, surpassing the fundraising goal in just a few months. Prior to WPI, Bri worked at Nichols College where she assisted in the fundraising efforts with a focus on 50th reunion gifts and planned community events to strengthen alumni and parent relations. Bri earned a B.S. in Communications from Suffolk University and a master's degree in organizational leadership from Nichols College. She lives in central MA with her husband, two sons, goldendoodle, and Bengal cat.

    David Runkle joined Rivers as an Upper School math teacher in 2020. He has a BS in mathematics from Elon University and an MS in mathematics from UNC-Chapel Hill. David has taught high school math in North Carolina and directed educational programming in yoga schools in Minnesota, Florida, and Massachusetts.
