A message from Ned Parsons, Head of The Rivers School

Dear Rivers Day Camp community,

As The Rivers School continues on the path toward fulfilling its strategic and campus master plans, we are continuing the associated construction work. While last summer's work included major infrastructure work on campus utilities, this summer we will be continuing major construction work on a new Science and Visual Arts Center in the middle of our campus. After careful consideration we have decided that, as a result of this major disruption to campus this summer, The Rivers Day Camp will not be in operation during the upcoming Summer 2019.

While we will not be able to run the camp as scheduled, there are several other summer programs Rivers offers that we encourage you to consider. Camp Nonesuch, our day camp on the northern shores of Nonesuch Pond, will still run its innovative, choice-based program for children ages 7-15. Additionally, we will still offer selected music, athletic, and academic programs whose operation will not be interrupted by the work on campus. Click here for a complete list of our 2019 Summer Programs at Rivers.

As we complete this part of our campus master plan, we look forward to sharing our plans for summer programming in Summer 2020.

Sincerely,
Ned Parsons
Head of School
