Boys' Soccer Team Featured in Boston Globe

The varsity boys’ soccer team has gotten off to a flying start this season, winning three of its first four games and scoring loads of goals in the process. Led by a talented core of seniors, including 2013 NSCAA All-American Trevor Davock ’15, Coach Bob Pipe’s team has its sights set on the New England NEPSAC Class B Championship once again after claiming a share of the 2012 title.

Davock leads a group of seniors that includes fellow captain Jake Stenquist ’15, defenders Jefferey Lin ’15, Ryan Bellevance ’15, Nick Sia ’15, and Sam Cleveland ’15, midfielder Cole Turissini ’15, and forward Nick Hawkins ’15 – and that’s just in the starting lineup. Will Carlin ’15, Jake Goldberg ’15, Tim Sistrand ’15, Justin Snider ’15, and Stephen Richlen ’15 also play their part in giving the Red Wings one of the most experienced teams in the ISL.

The boys recognized just how high expectations are for the team this fall when a Boston Globe article acknowledged their talents and potential this past Sunday. Click here to read the full story on BostonGlobe.com.
