This past weekend, the Rivers Middle School boys’ hockey team won the Fay School Tournament, winning all four of its games to capture the championship at the annual event.
Rivers defeated Milford Middle School, the Fay School, and the Hillside School, including a 5-1 victory over Hillside in the championship. Zach Bunick ’14 was named tournament MVP, while Brendan Connolly ’14, Tucker Marr ’14, and Hunter Dempsey ’15 all scored for the Red Wings, as well. Rivers goalies Patrick Hennessey ’15 and Ryan Colena ’15 put in strong efforts at net throughout the weekend.
