The MacDowell Library is a centrally located, collaborative information environment where students and faculty come to research, relax, and work. The library provides access to a variety of information resources including online database subscriptions, streaming video, books, print magazines, newspapers, and DVDs. We are also exploring the use of e-readers with a Kindle that currently has both book titles and daily newspaper delivery. Both a full-time librarian and library assistant are available to provide guidance and support to the students in their research efforts.

The library works with the Technology Department in providing students with laptops, Flip cameras, and still cameras. All of these items are available for students to check out during the academic day.

The library provides comfortable, multi-purpose work areas that are in constant use throughout the day. Teachers bring their classes to the library to research pertinent topics during class time. Students work independently at desktop computers during study halls on papers and reports and catch up on homework or personal reading before heading home after school.
