The Summer Jazz Program offers classes in jazz improvisation to beginning, intermediate and advanced level students in middle and high school. Since 1985, the program has provided a valuable and challenging jazz education to several hundred Boston area students. Taught by some of Boston's most-experienced and creative jazz teachers, classes are designed to provide a solid musical foundation while emphasizing creative expression and group communication.

Summer Jazz 2008 is offering 2 sessions:
    Session I: June 23-July 3, 2008
    Session II: July 7-July 18, 2008
    (students are welcome to participate in both sessions)
    
All classes meet 4:00-7:00pm.

Tuition: $1300/session
    
Each 2-week session consists of the following:

• 4 1-hour private lessons
• Daily ensemble rehearsals
• 4 Techniques of Improvisation classes
• 4 Color/Ear Training classes
• 2 Electives (each meeting twice per week)
• Masterclass with Visiting Clinician
• Final performance featuring all ensembles
