| |  | Middle School Basketball Teams Sweep Tournament at Milton

In the inaugural year of Milton Academy’s Middle School Basketball Tournament, the Rivers girls’ and boys’ teams walked away with a pair of championship wins. The tournament bracket included six teams in the boys’ division and five teams in the girls’ division. The Red Wings were victorious in both divisions, notching a total of six wins and no losses between the two teams.

Girls’ varsity basketball came out on top this weekend in the 42nd Rivers Holiday Tournament. The team defeated Miss Porter’s School, 60-46, in their first tournament game on Friday, and went on to beat out Pomfret School, 71-38, in the finals on Saturday.
