The 2008-09 tuition fee of $32,300 includes lunch, laboratory fees, and most field trip transportation. It does not include books and art supplies (average $400), transportation to and from school, tutoring, ensembles and private lessons at The Rivers School Conservatory, athletic fees, optional school supplies, athletic store items, and other occasional charges.

When a student is admitted to Rivers, a non-refundable deposit of $2,000 is required to hold his/her place. One half of the deposit is credited equally to the two tuition installments. The remaining half of the deposit is credited to the final bill the following June. Tuition bills are rendered in two installments: 50 percent due July 1 and 50 percent due December 1.

The school offers various payment options through TuitionPay administered by Sallie Mae and Tuition Management Systems administered by Key Financial Services. Please contact the Business Office for further information. The school does not allow any deduction or remission of fees for absence, withdrawal, or dismissal; therefore we strongly urge families to subscribe to a tuition refund plan that guards against the possible loss of tuition in any of these circumstances. Rivers also makes available optional accident insurance. Information about these programs is available from the Business Office.
